Friggan triplets remind me of Easter all the time. They have names now though! Not very ORIGINAL names, but they DO have names now!


Namene (daughter of Larxeen and Naminyte): One of the oldest, Namene is a natural artist and can commonly be found with one of her numerous sketchbooks. She is one of the more laid-back and friendly of the kids, but she has a hidden sadistic streak that clearly comes from her dad. Whether she realizes this or not isn’t clear.

Houndemmlypuff (son of Xigglypuff and Houndem): Oldest of the group, Houndemmlypuff, commonly called “Demmly,” is the most optimistic and friendly of the kids but may not come off as very bright sometimes. He is a very androgynous boy (his usual taste in clothing doesn’t help matters either), which earns him quite a few admirers whom aren’t already drawn in by his personality. His little brothers, the triplets, have taken it upon themselves to look after their big brother because of this.

the Xigglybuff triplets (come off as clones of Xigglypuff even though they have Houndem’s eyes...er...eye? whatever...): Obviously the youngest, the triplets are commonly found causing mischief or looking out for their big brother, Demmly. While they are identical triplets, they have slight differences in personality. Braig, the oldest of the three, is the self-proclaimed leader and the one that usually ends up getting the trio into trouble. He’s also usually the one to get them out of trouble. Jim, the middle boy, is a lot like Braig but usually finds himself as the moderator of the three. Myde, the youngest, takes after Houndem more than Xigglypuff in personality really. He will usually follow his brothers although he commonly tries to keep them out of trouble. Myde’s also the most manipulative of the group although he doesn’t seem to realize it; it’s never out of maliciousness anyway though. The trio likes to confuse people about which of them is which, but Xiggly has started to buy them slightly different clothing in an attempt to keep track of which is Braig, Jim, and Myde (although he sometimes has fun confusing other people with the triplets too).

Saïpras (son of Xempras and Saïxduck): The second youngest boy not including the triplets, Saïpras, sometimes called “Sai” by the others, has a very one-track mind–a trait seemingly from his dad. He comes off as rather “slow,” but he has his moments when he shows the intelligence he inherited from both his parents. He does have an odd obsession with his baseball though, although why he does isn’t clear especially since it’s usually hard to get him to say much. He will happily hang out with the other kids but finds himself in De-Axys’ company more often than not although he’s not sure why.

De-Axys (daughter of DeRoxys and Axsol): As one of the two girls amongst the kids, she takes it upon herself to look after the rest of the group despite a few of the boys being older than her. Her personality seems to come more from her dad than her mom, but that’s mostly because she tries to hide that part of herself from others (She doesn’t hate her mom; she just wants to not take after him any more than necessary and finds it annoying when she ends up acting like Axsol.). She finds herself spending more time with Saïpras than any of the others, and, while she finds him especially aggravating, she never ignores him. She has mixed feelings about being referred to as “Dee” or any other variation of her name.

Zexray (son of Lexray and Zexeon): The youngest of the boys not counting the triplets, Zexray takes after his mother a LOT in personality. He is a very smart but snarky boy–rarely anything he says isn’t a sarcastic or demeaning comment in some way. While he has one of the harsher personalities amongst the group, he is one of the more understanding of them–a trait undoubtably more from his father. He does not like to be called “Zexy” or any annoying alteration of that, but he doesn’t mind SOMETIMES being called “Ray.” He hasn’t said why.

Vexlia (son of Marelia and Vexpix): The second oldest boy, Vexlia is an especially smart boy but extremely shy and self-conscious. This mostly stems from lacking the approval he so desperately wants from his father, Marelia. Vexlia mostly keeps to himself even with the other kids but finds solace in the friendships he’s found amongst them. He seems to be found in Zexray’s company more often than not despite how often their personalities clash.


I have the feeling that if we ever have the kids old enough and ever think about pairing any of them up the first will be De-Axys and Saïpras. ((_.
